Fire Safety for Older Adults and People with Disabilities Webinar
The Fire Safety for Older Adults and People with Disabilities Webinar highlighted best practices from programs being used to reach older adults, people with disabilities and their caregivers with critical messages to help prevent and protect against fire-related injuries. This topic is especially important as Home Safety Council research shows that fire is the third leading cause of home injury-related death and older adults and people with disabilities are significantly more vulnerable to injuries from home fires.
